Many reasons to visit Shorouk new website NOW

Friends,
I’ve been preparing for this for months ago, a new version of the newspaper’s website that I do manage “Al Shorouk”. I’ve been working with the technical team for a while to develop everything from the backend to the user interface, we needed something to conatain all these various content, with a good usability and proper user experience.
You know, It wasn’t easy at all, but WE DID IT. Added new many features & services, a much better design & of course a worthy content to read.
I know that many of you don’t read Arabic, but you might use the Google translation tool, that will give you a hint about what’s there. Wish to hear your about your impressions, good day.

It’s London!
Hello World,
It’s been very long time since my last blog post here. It’s London & it’s my first time in Europe. The reason of the visit is attending a one week journalism course at Thomson Reuters foundation, actually it’s a Web Journalism course, wow! I’ve been looking for such a chance to deepen my knowledge regarding the relationship between journalism & internet as media, and it seems I got it..

It’s just beginning today. I like everything; London, course mates & instructors, the topic itself and of course, HAVING FUN
.
The course title is “Web Tools for Journalism”, it’s the first time they run such a course in Reuters, so I’m so lucky. We’ve the course in the Reuters Plaza in Canary Wharf area in London. It’s a growing busy district that hosts the headquarters of many big companies, international banks & media entities..
Updates:
We’re practicing leaving comments on each other’s blog posts, so check my comment on my course Polish mate Magda’s first blog post.
